Managing cPanel, Plesk, Helm, and Urchin

HPC Host licenses three different control panels (cPanel, Plesk, and Helm) and Urchin, the Web Analytics software from Google.  All four software packages are handled by similar screens in the Customer Portal.

The control screens for these software packages can be found under the “Software” dropdown, and then selecting “cPanel,” “Plesk,” “Helm,” or “Urchin” in the gray link bar.

Each page contains a list of hardware where licensed installations of these software packages have been installed.

Clicking on the server name will take you to the hardware view screen for that server.  Any notes attached to that server will appear in the next column.  Following that is the Public Network IP address for this server.  The control interfaces for these software packages will be available on this IP address.  The datacenter where the hardware is installed is displayed next.  The next column contains a link to the administrator interface for each specific software package.  The last two columns of the table contain the username and password on record for accessing the software package’s interface.

Following the hardware table are links which fold open when clicked (JavaScript must be enabled).  Contained inside are Macromedia Flash or text based tutorials.

Also available are links to the official documentation, FAQs, forums, knowledgebase’s, and other useful pages when available.
