  • What is your network infrastructure?

    Our network consists of mutiple Core routers running BGP across 8 or more carriers.
    This ensures the network will keep serving internet traffic even if mutiple carriers have an outage.



  • How do I reboot my Server?

    You can reboot, start and shutdown your server using the Virtual Dedicated Hosting Manager.
    1. Log in to your Account Manager.
    2. In the Virtual Dedicated Server section, click View Details .
    3. Under Your server details, click Reboot.



  • What kind of performance can I expect from the VMWare VPS?

    Performance is on par with a dedicated machine of the same processsor class and speed.
    VMware's overhead is quite low and uses only a few percent of the processing ability of our multiprocessor servers.
    Although the server hardware is shared across multiple Virtual machines. We do not oversell resources.



  • What is your Data Center infrastructure for the VMware enviroment?

    All of our equipment from servers, storage, switching, and routing gear is all run on Redundant A+B power.
    Each A and B power circuit are backed up by seperate UPS's and seperate generators ensuring there are no power failures.
    Also all of our equipment is cooled by mutiple redundant Cooling units ensuring maximum uptime.



  • What are the Virtual Machine Specs provided in your VPS product?

    Processor

  • What is NetApp (Network Appliance) Clustered Storage and how does it protect my data from failure?

    NetApp Storage is one of the highest performing Enterprise storage systems on the market.

    Our storage infrastructure uses NetApp Clustered Systems so that if one of the controllers were to have a failure the other controller would take over in its place and continue to serve the storage needs of the VMware enviroment without any downtime.

    To further protect our customer's data we also have Snapshot and Tape Backup solutions integrated with our NetApp storage.



  • How is bandwidth measured?

    VPS Servers

    For Our VPS Servers we run Netflow collection hardware to determine your bandwidth usage across your assigned IP's.

    Dedicated Servers

    For our Dedicated Servers collect port usage to determine your bandwidth usage acrossour public network.



  • How is extra bandwidth billed?

    Bandwidth overages are billed at $0.10 per GB. If you exceed twice the amount of bandwidth you are allotted, we will automatically charge you for excess bandwidth used at the time. If you exceed your allotment by less than twice the allowance, the overages will be added to your next monthly invoice.



  • Will I have full, root access?

    You will have root/administrator access to all unmanaged VPS and Dedicated Servers.



  • Can I change my server password?

    You may change your server password, but keep in mind we will not have a record of it if you lose it.



  • How do I Cancel my Server?

    You can cancel your server using the Virtual Dedicated Hosting Manager.
    1. Log in to your Account Manager.
    2. In the Virtual Dedicated Server section, click View Details .
    3. Under Your server details, click Cancel.



  • What is the current VMware VI Version and hardware platform you are runnning?

  • Do you offer unmetered servers?

    Yes we offer unmetered bandwidth on all our Dedicated Servers. All unmetered servers are on dedicated ports not shared with any other customers.



  • How long does it take for a requested reinstall to be provisioned?

    It can take anywhere from 15 min to 48 hours. We can by special request leave your current server running while we provision you a new server and allow you a grace period to copy your data over.



  • How many machines do you currently host?

    We currently host over 5000 machines and are constantly growing.



  • Average Ticket Response Time?

    Out typical response time is between 5-20 mintues. Our Support engineers assign a degree of severity and responded accordingly.  Service outages of any type always receive top priority followed by service-degrading factors and general questions about server management.  This ensures every customer will receive the best support during the appropriate situation.



  • How many OS reinstalls can be requested per month?

    VPS

    For Unmanaged VPS Economy Plan you can request 1 System Reinstall a month.
    For Unmanaged VPS Deluxe Plan you can request up to 2 System Reinstalls per month.
    For Unmanaged VPS Premium Plan you can request up to 3 System Reinstalls per month.
    For Managed VPS Economy Plan you can request up to 5 System Reinstall a month.
    For Managed VPS Deluxe Plan you can request up to 6 System Reinstalls per month.
    For Managed VPS Premium Plan you can request up to 7 System Reinstalls per month.

    Dedicated Server

    For all 1 CPU - Single Core - High Availability you can request up to 2 System Reinstall a month.
    For all 1 CPU - Dual Core - High Availability you can request up to 3 System Reinstall a month.
    For all 1 CPU - Quad Core  you can request up to 4 System Reinstall a month.
    For all 2 CPU you can request up to 7 System Reinstall a month.
    For all 4 CPU you can request up to 7 System Reinstall a month.



  • How long to provision the server on a new order?

    Standard VPS
    It can be immediate or upto 24 hours. The time is based on proper credit card authorization and verification.

    Managed VPS
    Since a managed VPS is based on working with you the client to setup the server and relies certain information to be provided, a time cannot be guaranteed.
    Typically if the information is provided in a timely manner no more the 24 hours is needed.

    Dedicated Server/Managed ESX Dedicated Server/unManaged ESXi Dedicated Server
    It can be immediate or upto 48 hours. The time is based on proper credit card authorization and verification.



  • How long does it take for a VMware Machine Import ?

    It can take anywhere from 15 min to 48 hours.
